To iMac or not to iMac..

I've been thinking about this for a while, I do have a brand new Samsung Windows 8 laptop that my parents were kind enough to buy be for my 18th birthday but i do want an iMac to have at my flat at uni.

I mean i'm doing photography for a start, this would just make it 10x easier for me to get projects finished because i would have my own editing space set up in my room at my flat so i wouldn't have to catch the train to Hartlepool every day (I am attending uni at Hartlepool but i am actually going to live in Middlebrough, basically my uni recommend it and said there was a better night life and it is only like 5 minutes away from Hartlepool and the train station is right next to the uni! just easier i suppose? ahah)

But all in all i do really like apple software as you can see from my last post i am a owner of a iPhone my sister and mother also both have iPads and i just really like them and i have grown to be more used to them because at my old college in the 'fishbowl' as we would refer to it all us art lot, in reality it was just a room with glass walls full of computers and 4 iMac's, but basically i got used to using the iMacs software for editing and i do prefer using Photoshop on there opposed to on my windows laptop. 

But the downside is that they are SO expensive and i'm not sure i want to spend that much money on an iMac. This is something i am definitely going to have to think about.

I really don't know if anyone really reads my blog when they look at it but any thoughts from you guys? have you ever had one or had experience? help me decide please..
